The Rules of the Draw

Understanding the mechanics helps you play responsibly. Here is how the winning numbers are determined:

  • The Machine: We use six separate, transparent mechanical barrels.
  • The Balls: Each barrel contains 10 balls numbered 0 through 9.
  • The Sequence: One ball is dropped from each barrel, from left to right. This forms the exact winning order.
  • Exact Order Matters: Unlike some other lotteries, the position of the digit is crucial. A "7" in the first position is different from a "7" in the second position.

Frequently Asked Questions

When does the draw close?

Ticket sales close exactly at 7:00 PM EST on Saturday evenings. Any tickets purchased after this time will automatically be entered into the following week's draw.

Are winnings taxable in Canada?

Generally, lottery winnings are not considered taxable income in Canada. However, we recommend consulting with a financial advisor regarding any interest earned on winnings.

What happens if there is no winner?

If no ticket matches the Division 1 sequence, the prize money rolls over (Jackpot accumulation) to the next draw, making the next Grand Prize even larger.

Can I cancel a ticket?

Once a ticket is purchased and confirmed in our system, it cannot be cancelled or refunded, as per regulatory standards to ensure draw integrity.
